Archaeologists, Mayanists, and Hershey’s Collaborated to Reveal This Ancient Vessel’s Secrets

 An ancient Mayan Vessel was recently examined by both scientists and archaeologists, determining it was both soaked in cacao and history. The glyphs found on the vessel are believed to demonstrate it’s use for cacao – perhaps ceremony – and the origins of the Mayan word KaKaWa (Cacao). Ancient residues of theobromine and caffeine were found contained within – leading to a simple conclusion – the vessel was unique in its use with cacao.
